Viceroy Hotels & Residences has confirmed its return to New York with Viceroy Park Avenue, a 252-key flagship at Park Avenue South and 29th Street in NoMad, opening December 2026. Meyer Davis Studio is behind interiors that include four presidential suites, among them three 18th-floor penthouse suites of 755-2,100ft2 and a 2,000ft2 duplex. A third-floor spa and fitness centre holds four treatment rooms, sauna, steam room, cold plunge and Technogym equipment; a 2,100ft2 Wellness Penthouse adds a private infrared sauna and recovery technology. Tao Group Hospitality is developing the ground-floor restaurant and cafe plus a rooftop with outdoor pool and cocktail lounge. Event space runs to more than 15,000ft2 across three rooms.

Downtown, the 14-key Broome on Broome Street has completed the first phase of a renovation by Sonoe Architecture & Design Studio, set within a nearly 200-year-old building around a courtyard. Broome Restaurant opens in July 2026, with reworked rooms and suites following in September 2026. The property is the flagship for 18 Main, founded by Managing Partner Tom Intrator, with Liron Sanado directing operations.

Across the Hudson, Suomi Design Works has completed 'The Hub' redesign of Hyatt Regency Jersey City for Ground LVL, a HEI Hotels and Resorts subsidiary, covering all guestrooms and public areas, including a handpainted dome mural by Brooklyn artist Oscar Lett.
