PASHA and Marriott Sign Three Projects Across Baku and Tbilisi
A Ritz-Carlton on the Caspian at Zagulba, a second residential tower in Baku and a 152-room Le Meridien in Tbilisi's Chugureti district add up to 752 rooms and residences, with no dates attached.
PASHA Real Estate Group and Marriott International have signed an agreement covering three hotel and residential projects in Azerbaijan and Georgia, totalling 752 rooms and residences. The signing took place at The Ritz-Carlton, Baku, with PASHA chief executive Ozgur Geter and Neal Jones, Marriott's president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, in attendance.
The largest piece is at Zagulba Beach, on the Caspian coastline north of Baku, where The Ritz-Carlton Baku, Zagulba is planned with 80 guestrooms and suites, an indoor pool, spa, fitness centre, beach club and a Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge. Alongside it, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Baku, Zagulba will hold 282 apartments and villas. In the city itself, PASHA will add a tower to the Ritz-Carlton Residences that opened in 2023, bringing 238 further residences with their own lounge, gym and pool. No construction or completion timeline was given for either.
The third project takes Le Meridien into Tbilisi, in the Chugureti district, with 152 guestrooms, several dining venues, meeting and event space, a fitness centre and a Le Meridien Hub.
The two companies already work together in Baku on The St. Regis, JW Marriott Absheron and Sheraton Baku Intourist. PASHA Real Estate operates across Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Montenegro and the United States.
