Moebius Milano Takes Second Place in the World's 50 Best Bars
The Milanese warehouse bar was also named best in Europe at a ceremony held in the city on 7 October, the first time the awards have been staged in Italy.

Moebius Milano has been ranked second in the World's 50 Best Bars for 2026 and named the best bar in Europe, the highest position an Italian bar has reached. The ceremony took place in Milan on Wednesday 7 October, the first time the awards have been held in Italy. The bar placed seventh in 2025, when it won the Highest Climber Award.
Opened in 2019 by the entrepreneur Lorenzo Querci in a former textile warehouse near Milano Centrale, Moebius runs to 700 square metres across bar, restaurant, record shop and live music room, with exposed iron and concrete, vintage armchairs and a 700-year-old Andalusian olive tree rising through the space. Giovanni Allario runs the drinks; Enrico Croatti oversees Moebius Sperimentale, the fine-dining floor above the ground-level Tapa Bistrot.
Condé Nast Traveler sets the result against a longer run of Milanese drinking history, from Campari's 1867 café in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II to Bar Basso, credited with the negroni sbagliato in the 1970s. Also noted: the speakeasy 1930, now beneath MAG La Pusterla and number 94 on the extended list, Lubna near Fondazione Prada, a Milan outpost of Madrid's Salmon Guru, and Rita in the Navigli.
