Hyatt Brings Park Hyatt Residences to Niseko as Hokkaido's Branded Pipeline Fills Out
One Hanazono Villas, with local partner Pacific Century Premium Developments, will be Hyatt's first Park Hyatt branded residences in Japan, arriving alongside a 310-room Moxy, a Fairmont, an Aman and three Hilton rebrands.

Hyatt will launch its first Park Hyatt branded residences in Japan at Niseko, developing One Hanazono Villas with local partner Pacific Century Premium Developments. Each villa runs between 700 and 1,000 square metres, typically with four to six ensuite bedrooms, and is intended for year-round occupancy rather than a fortnight in February. The units are ski-in, ski-out on a slope-side site, with shared common areas including a lounge, and hotel-style service supplied by the team at the co-located Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono, which opened in 2020 with its own residences.
The signing lands in a crowded pipeline. Marriott's Moxy Niseko, with 310 rooms, is expected to open before the end of 2026. Hilton has struck a rebranding deal with regional operator YTL Hotels that moves Kasara Niseko Village to LXR Hotels & Resorts, Green Leaf Niseko Village to Tapestry Collection and Hinode Hills Niseko Village to Curio Collection. Accor is reviving the stalled La Plume scheme as the 165-room Fairmont Niseko for 2028, and Aman Niseko, 61 rooms and the brand's fourth Japanese hotel, is slated for 2030.
Underpinning it is the Value Up Niseko 2030 plan: larger lifts and gondolas, refurbished food and drink around the resort, and the reopened Yukoro Onsen baths, shut since 2019.
